Madonna has overtaken Elvis Presley to become the solo artist with the most UK Number One albums, according to the Official Charts Company.
'MDNA' outsold its nearest rival, David Guetta's 'Nothing But The Beat', by 34,000 copies to give Madonna her 12th chart topper.
Madonna's first album to peak at Number One in the UK was 'Like A Virgin' in 1984 and the only albums to miss out since have been 'Erotica' and 'Bedtime Stories', which is about right.
