Madonna has been officially confirmed as the half-time entertainment at next year's Super Bowl, reports Billboard.
With rumours circulating since October that the 'Far Away' hitmaker would launch her twelfth album during the show next February , the NFL and NBC finally confirmed it during a scintillating match between the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions last night.
Madonna will be following in the footsteps of Prince, U2 and Britney Spears by performing, but will have to keep an eye out for any wardrobe malfunctions following Janet Jackson's nipular debacle a few years ago.
In other Madonna news, 'Masterpiece', a ballad produced by William Orbit and due for inclusion on her film WE, leaked over the weekend. This follows the early leak of a demo version of her new single 'Give Me All Your Love', which will eventually feature both MIA and Nicki Minaj.
