Mariah Carey has said she's upped her security after that unsavoury altercation with Nicki Minaj during an American Idol audition a few months ago.
Discussing the nonsense with ABC's Barbara Walters, Carey was asked about the allegations she made about Minaj's supposed off-air threat to shoot her.
"It felt like an unsafe work environment," Carey explained. "Anytime anybody's reeling threats at somebody, you know, it's not appropriate. I'm a professional. I'm not used to that type of environment."
"I just felt it was the appropriate thing to do," she said of hiring extra security. "Sitting there on the road with two babies, I'm not going to take any chances."
Remembering there's a TV show involved somewhere, she added: "For all the drama, I hope it helps the show. I think it's a classic, classy show and it didn't need this."
'Classic'.
'Classy'.
