Madonna's 'MDNA' has entered at the US charts at Number One.
Billboard reports that it's Madonna's eighth album to reach the 'top spot' on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 359,000 copies, a marked improvement on 'Hard Candy''s 280,000 debut.
However, the album was helped by a scheme in which fans had the option of buying the album when they purchased tickets for her forthcoming tour.
The popstar/actress/author/film-director/Vita Coco-investor will also return to Twitter to chat with fans later today in celebration of the album's success.
She'll use the @MadonnaMDNADay account to answer fans who use the #askmadonna hashtag from 10pm EST (around 2am GMT).
