5 Seconds Of Summer and Elle King have also contributed tracks to the film but Popjustice's close personal Twitter pal Pete Wentz (!) confirmed last night that Fall Out Boy's Missy collaboration is a cover of the actual, proper, bustin'-makes-me-feel-good Ray Parker Jr Ghostbusters theme.
crossed one off the kid dream bucket list by covering Ray Parker theme with missy Elliot verse 😁

? indeed, Wentzo.
Let's just remind ourselves what the original sounds like.
Total banger.
Also worth noting that the original video features RPJ dancing down the street with the cast of the film and if that means we're on the verge of witnessing Missy stomping through the streets of New York wielding a proton pack 2016 is LOOKING UP.
