Nerina Pallot has claimed writing for other people is a bit like "dressing up musically."
In an interview with the BBC, Pallot — who is, of course, a very good pop star in her own right — talks about writing for the likes of Kylie Minogue and Diana Vickers, saying it helps her get all her "uber-pop" tendencies out. "I get to inhabit somebody else's persona for a day. It's like dressing up musically — and pulling out things I would never have the guts to wear normally."
As well as revealing that her new album was produced by Bernard Butler because he also supports Arsenal and that her voice was affected by her then unborn son pressing on her diaphragm, she also, finally, confirmed that she is indeed taller than Kylie.
