Collaboration-shy avoider of the media Nile Rodgers has announced that he and equally interview-averse electronic (on a good day) duo Daft Punk will work together again on some unfinished Chic material he found in a box.
Chatting to someone from DJAZZtv the noted tunesmith, famous for his work with Sam Sparro and Adam Lambert, explained that he'd stumbled across a box of old songs in the Warner Music tape library and that he planned on finishing some of the Chic songs.
"Daft Punk wants [HE MEANS WANT] to do at least one of them with me, so that should be very cool," Rodgers explained. "Because they respect the music, they understand."
So there we have it. (He should have given them to Alcazar really but what can you do.)
