Olly Murs is currently sat 'atop' the UK album charts with his second album 'In Case You Didn't Know' according to The Official Charts midweek update.
In what can only be described as an X Factor-related-mega-release-bonanza-extravaganza, Murs is currently outselling any album related to the show. Gary Barlow won't be fist pumping when he sees Take That's ‘Progress Live’ album is predicted to enter at number 10, while Joe McElderry’s 'Christmas Classic' is stalling at number 13.
But it is Tulisa and Kelly Rowland who have their work cut out. N‑Dubz 'Greatest Hits' — complete with shod-tastic cover art — is at number 35, while Kelly's 'Here I Am' is not even in the top 40.
Over in the singles chart, Murs is being held off by The X Factor Finalists featuring JLS and One Direction's 'Wishing On A Star'. Small mercies etc etc.
