In a move that directly mirrors Sony Pictures' recent response to a perceived threat from North Korea, former hat bothering singer of song Olly Murs has removed a song from his setlist as it upsets his nan.
Surprisingly the song in question isn't 'Thinking Of Me' or 'Oh My Goodness', but an album track called 'I Don't Love You Too', taken from his second album.
“It’s about two people having an argument – it was about my nan and grandad," he mused to the Mirror. “She‘d be the first to admit that they do argue. She says: ‘I hate you Stan,’ and then she says ‘I don’t mean it.’"
Unfortunately The Murs Progenitor wasn't a fan of her arguments being turned into song ("she didn't like it") and so now he can't sing it in a live scenario anymore.
“I didn’t sing it on tour because I didn’t want her to be upset watching it,” he explained. “I decided to cut that from the set.”
So there we are. A fairly spurious 'news' story, but it's almost Christmas and what's Christmas without a family argument?
