One Direction's new single is called 'Best Song Ever'

One DirectionOne Direction's new single is modestly called 'Best Song Ever' (!) and will be available to preorder at midnight tonight.

It's the first song to be taken from their forth­com­ing third album and a clip of it will be played in a new trailer for their doc­u­ment­ary, This Is Us, which will appar­ently be online at some point today.

The single will be available to download on July 22 and will be released phys­ic­ally on August 19.

According to this here press release, the song has "a sky scraping sing along chorus" and "expands their sound yet remains as irre­press­ibly infec­tious as ever".
