Pharrell, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran have all been lined up to have a singsong on forthcoming episodes of Saturday Night Live, aka SNL, aka that US TV show most of us are only bothered about if there's someone good singing a song.
Sam Smith will warble that tune about money and integrity and closing doors etc on March 29, while Pharrell will wear his hat on April 5.
One Direction scribe Ed Sheeran will then perform a new song, we imagine, on April 12. Will his entire album magically appear in full on iTunes around that date? WAIT AND SEE.
So there we go. Some singers singing songs on TV in order to generate buzz and 'shift some units'.
