Plan B's new album 'iLL Manors' is "light years ahead" of anything he's released before, according to impartial observer Plan B.
The follow up to 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks' will also serve as a soundtrack for B's directorial debut of the same name. The sound is described as "bass-line, soul, hip-hop" which all sounds very moody and serious.
Plan B confidently added (in a press release) that "I'm better than I've ever been", adding that the record is "informed by everything I've learnt" in his five years experience in 'the business'.
"The album has the lyrical depth of my first record but the musical composition is light years ahead," the modest tunesmith continued.
'iLL Manors' the album is out on May 7 with 'iLL Manors' the film in cinemas on May 4.
