Sam Sparro has criticised lady popstars for "exploiting their sexuality", saying as a gay man if he were to do the same it would "make some people feel uncomfortable".
On his return from a three-year pop hiatus Sam discovered, much to his surprise, that popstars were using sex to sell records.
He told the Australian Telegraph: "You have women now taking the lead on exploiting their sexuality as a powerful tool. Men aren't allowed to be fabulous, dandy entertainers; they have to be cavemen — macho misogynist monsters."
Sam's new album 'Happiness' is out on March 9.
