Santigold isn't the biggest fan of LMFAO

Santigold thinks that the state of music is "unfor­tu­nate at the moment".

Talking spe­cific­ally about LMFAO, the 'Say Aha' hitmaker expressed shock at seeing the pair per­form­ing with Madonna at the Super Bowl.

"It just speaks to the state of music that they're that popular that they would perform at the Super Bowl, where in the past you've had people like Whitney Houston per­form­ing," she explained. "It's a statement about where we are in culture. It's sur­pris­ing and a bit dis­ap­point­ing as well."

Mind you, she's aware that she, like all of us, might have to put up with them for a while longer, con­fess­ing: "But really they can LMFAO their way to the bank. Whatever they're effect is, it's working."
