Scott Mills has said that most 17-year-olds don't give a damn about Madonna which is why Radio One won't play her anymore.
"I don't think we play Madonna anymore," the DJ told the Daily Echo. "There is a lot of research, and if you ask a 17-year-old about her, they go 'don't care'… It's a sign of the times."
Clearly ignoring the recent chart success of the Nicki Minaj and MIA-featuring 'Give Me All Your Luvin'', he added: "Things change. It's a generational thing. I like Madonna, but does a 17-year-old? She's [Madonna] probably not at the top of their list."
"And that's horrible, but that is the way it is. Youth audiences are so fickle in what they like and don't like, and they're quite opinionated. You have got to keep on top of that."
Mind you, if it is an age thing then Dave Grohl's 43 and that doesn't stop Radio One A‑listing everything he bloody does, does it. OH WELL.
