'My Dilemma' hitmaker Selena Gomez has been annointed Glamour magazine's Woman Of The Year.
"Woman Of The Year — I didn't even know I was a woman!" she exclaimed. "I'm very honored… And it's a very, very big deal to me. I'm going to hold it close to my heart."
Gomez is being recognised for her work as a UNICEF ambassador — she is the youngest ever to hold the position — as well as for what she's done with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, which "creates programs for pediatric hospitals for seriously injured children".
A modern day Mother Teresa.
For those interested in a progress report on her next album, Ms Gomez posted on Facebook yesterday saying she is "working on some amazing music," so that's promising.
