Taylor Swift's new album 'Red' looks likely to 'shift' over 1m 'units' in its opening week in America, according to Billboard.
If it does, Swift will become the first woman to have opening sales weeks of over 1 million with consecutive albums ('Speak Now' sold 1.047 million in its first seven days in November 2010).
According to those trusty industry sources, 'Red' sold 500,000 copies on its first day alone, with half of those sales coming from iTunes.
It's also been reported that yesterday Swift sold a 'quite good' 4m individual tracks in America alone.
