Taylor Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' sold 623,000 downloads in the US last week, due to being amazing, to set the record for the biggest sales week ever for a lady singer.
Swift's 'tally' beats the previous record holder 'Tik Tok' by Ke$ha, which 'shifted' 610,000 in January 2009.
Unfortunately it has to settle for second place in terms of the biggest overall sales week behind Flo Rida's 'Right Round', which 'moved' 636,000 downloads in February 2009.
The song also represents the biggest debut sales week among women, thrashing the previous record held by Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' (that sold 448,000 in February 2011, but had only been out for three days compared to Taylor's six).
