Taylor's the first act to be announced for this year's Radio 1 Big Weekend thing, which takes place in Norwich's Earlham Park over the weekend of May 23–24.

Not a bad start really.

But what does Taylor think about the people of Norwich and/or UK festival crowds?

"They are rowdy, insane, in the best way — there seems to be a lot of jumping, which I love," she mused (as quoted here). "Everyone talks about the festivals in England being the best ones you can go to. I feel like I've been missing out — I'm really excited," she added.

Taylor's the first act to be announced so far but obviously there will be months of announce­ments, com­pet­i­tions, teasers, adverts, endless trailers, phone-ins, and 'social engage­ment', so you're unlikely to miss the details of further performers.
