Mark Linsey, entertainment controller for the BBC, has said there will be fewer live shows on the next series of The Voice.
Speaking to the actual Richard Bacon at the MediaGuardian Edinburgh International TV Festival 2012 (!), Linsey said that audiences have become "over familiar" with the live show format and that it's become "very very predictable".
He also agreed that the blind audition episodes were the most successful and that he wanted the spinny chairs to feature in every episode of the forthcoming second series.
