will.i.am's Google + hangout thing last night was, unsurprisingly, all about will.i.am

william-thinkingAs we warned you yesterday, will.i.am had a Google + 'hangout' thing last night and you can now watch all 3 hours and 43 minutes of it (!) if you care at all.

From what MTV have sum­mar­ised, the whole thing was a bit of ploy to keep Mr i.am's ego massaged, with Britney dropping by to claim that will "gets our gen­er­a­tion", which if true is a ter­ri­fy­ing claim.

Nicole Scherzinger then revealed that "will and god have been the authors of my life", while Miley Cyrus said her album would have been out sooner if it wasn't for all the fun she was having in the studio with the 'Girl Is Mine 2008' hitmaker.

For will's part, he had this to say about '#willpower': "This record is the 15-year old version of me."

That explains a lot.
