will.i.am's releasing THIS IS NOT A JOKE his own range of glasses

Good luck if you're as short­sighted as the executive producer on a Britney Spears album: will.i.am is releasing his own range of "optics" (spec­tacles).

Going under the name ill.i Optics, the glasses will be available to buy from September and have, according to an amazing press release, been inspired by "memorable moments in will.i.am’s early career and eyewear influ­ences including 1980s hip hop pioneers."

The range was designed by "entre­pren­eur and glasses con­nois­seur" (THAT'S AN ACTUAL QUOTE) will.i.am alongside your good friend and ours, designer George Gorrow.
