Paul Epworth's been discussing what it was like to write 'Skyfall' with Adele.
"We went back and studied the look of the old Bond films, and just tried to work out what was the uniting factor, the mood and that kind of '60s jazzy quality to them," he told MTV. "In a way, it was working with a new palette for me…I went back and worked out whatever the modal structure or the chord that always seemed to unify those songs, and then actually I felt like we had a moment of inspiration."
He continued: "Literally, these chords fell into my head and they were like nothing I've ever played before, and it was a bit of a 'Eureka!' moment, really. It wasn't meant to mimic, it was meant to be what it was, and be respectful to those classic things."
Paul may not make it to the ceremony, however, as he also mentioned, "I just finally booked a holiday yesterday, and I don't know if I'll be able to change my plans."
Center Parcs are actually quite flexible when it comes to reservations Paul, it's worth giving them a call.
